The reason that some women give for having abortions is that they do not want to give up a baby for adoption, only to have them suddenly appear in their lives years later, without caring what this “blast from the past” will do to their present lives.

If a current (I guess as of the time of the child’s birth) health history of the birth giver is given, do you think the birth giver should have the right to have it said in the records that she wants no contact ever? What about in the case of rape? Should the birth giver be allowed to have it in the records that the child is a product of a rape, therefore she does not want the person coming back and digging up painful memories?

Seems strange that here in the US, it is illegal to buy human organs, like a kidney, but people can offer money to pregnant women to give their child away?

Have any birth mothers placed a baby for adoption AFTER already having a child/children? I.e. a woman has a child whom she chooses to raise she then becomes pregnant again and places the second child for adoption.
