ricepaddyprincess asked: I’d rather it be adopted than to starve with me, thanks whoever just attacked me. so sorry i’d want my child to lead a better life than be selfish like u and keep it for ur own selfish comfort.
I didn’t literally mean starve, but a better quality of life than i can provide. I’m going to be 20 tuesday and there are more deserving people that want to be parents. that would be great parents. this all started bc i was irresponsible in the 1st place, u know.

Randy B asked: We’ve recently welcomed a baby into our home as a foster baby. She came to us as a 4 day old and she is now 2 months. The program in our area is such that babies like her go into foster care, for various reasons, and CAS goes to court for permanent guardianship. Once that is granted the baby goes for adoption and in this case we will be the adoptive parents. That way there is no movement from home to time prior to adoption and she gets a chance to bond from the start with her new family.
This little one was given the name Brooke-Lynn by her bio mother. Both my wife and I love Brooke because it has a connection to my family but the whole Brooke-Lynn, Brooklyn, Brooke Lynn combo is a non starter for us.
We are going to keep the Brooke part of her current name but as part of the adoption process we are going to give her the middle name of Kendell.
How does Brooke Kendell sound as a name?

anonymous asked: I’m currently 5months pregnant and cannot keep the child. Very bad circumstances surround the situation. I’m considering a closed adoption, which is heartbreaking but necessary.
All my co workers see that I’m pregnant, and I can’t bring myself to tell anyone that I’m giving the baby up. There is such a stigma to giving up a baby. But after I have the baby, and it’s with it’s new family, I’ll need to tell co-workers something. Can I just say that my baby didn’t make it, and that I don’t want to discuss it? I don’t want to tell anyone about the adoption.
Any suggestions? Please be kind. This is difficult enough! Thank you.

HappyMomAnna asked: There is some information given over on the Adoption Questions section suggesting that Young Pregnant Women are attacked by baby stealing Adoption Agencies and attacked by People wanting to Adopt their baby.
My Question is to those who might be Young and Pregnant who have NOT even considered Adoption–Have you been Solicited here or in real life by Adoption Businesses or Interested Adoptive Parents to give them your baby?
Do you know what a “Dear Birth Mother” Letter is?
Do people email you telling you they want your baby–even if you have never mentioned Adoption as one of the choices you might make?
For those pregnant whom have never had contact with an Adoption Professional–or people interested in Adopting your baby do you Feel like you are being Solicited to place a baby for adoption?
Just interested if the General Public of young mothers are attacked by the evil Adoption People—or Not?

If you feel that you cannot post an answer here in public will you please just email me and let me know that you have been asked to place your baby for adoption… I will Not tell who you are–I just would like to know if this REALLY is a problem in 2008?

Noodles asked: I have just been contacted by a cousin of the baby I gave up for adoption 22 yrs. ago. My thoughts are this: How do I ask politely if his parents support his decision searching out his birth parents? I realize he is an adult but I want to consider their feelings in this matter also. Any thoughts?
