One was 16 when it happened, the other was 19. They both ended up placing their daughters for adoption. They both have open adoptions and have some level of contact with the children they placed. They were both able to live full lives and have gotten married and had more children when they were ready and mature enough to raise them. I also have a friend who had a baby at 16, was planning on placing and at the last minute didn't. She had another baby before she was 18. They live in squalor and depend on her parents to take care of them. I'm not saying that either of these situations will necessarily happen to you, this is just what I've seen. Seriously sit down and think about what is best for the child. Not how you'll feel or what you'll have to go through. Once you became pregnant it all became about the baby.
