he doesnt want to help me at all, neither does anyone in my familly so I think the best is for my son to have a good caring familly that can pay for college later on,but my boyfriend wants not to give me money and keep the baby can he do anything to interfire with the adoption?

I’m only about 4 1/2 weeks pregnant and am due December 19. I work for USPS and my job is just about to close. I still haven’t found another job yet. Things are tough, and I already have 2 beautiful babies. I really don’t think I’ll be able to support another child right now, as this certainly came as a surprise.

Where’s a good place to check into about adoption?

HYPOTHETICAL QUESTION:
Say if I were to get pregnant tomorrow (I’m 16), what are the pro’s and con’s of keeping the child or giving it up for adoption? Termination of the pregnancy is not an option. The father is a good friend, not someone who I would, the situation allowing, marry, but he would be there to support me and be there for all appts and such. What would you do? I have heard that putting the baby up for adoption is harder on the mother, what with post partum depression and separation depression and such. Opinoins?
Really, I promise I’m not pregnant haha. This is just an area of study that I’m interested in. But sadly, it IS all too common amongst teens all across the country, so I am just trying to understand it all. Thanks

I was dating an abusive man for almost 2 years now & earlier this year I found out I was pregnant. In the course of the last almost 2 years of being & knowing of him, I have been traumatized with too much that I can’t handle to where I can’t get my own life back because of this man. He has done such awful things not only to me but to himself as he is very obsessed with me & has gone so far as to try & hurt himself, making me watch him hurt him self, in MANY types of ways. From being emotionally, mentally, verbally & physically abused with this extremely jealous man to seeing him hurting himself has inflicted alot of trauma within me.

I’m due soon with our baby & I do NOT feel I can do this alone & also his threats of all kinds scares the CRAP out of me. I’m scared of this man period I have severe PTSD. I shouldn’t have to live in fear but how can I care fro a newborn if I’m too scared to for myself?

I have thought of giving up the baby for adoption for HER safety because I do NOT trust what the father will do……I want the best for her.

Is adoption a good idea? I want opinions on this, please. I’m also 36.
