I’m just curious if you could give your baby to someone to keep until another person is old enough to adopt it themselves. I mean, without the agencies or any other interferences.

yes most of the time..you just sign full custody to the person you want and really that is sometimes it but you do have to do it in court i know someone who did this..but sometimes they make sure that the person is fit enough so it depends on what they think of your reason
I think what you are looking for is a guardianship.
You should have a lawyer bofore giving someone guardianship of the child because you may want to ensure that you will be able to retrieve rights given up.
FYI: The father could fight for rights and/or custody.

NO! It wouldn’t be legal at all. Besides, if you aren’t of age to adopt you shouldn’t be having children.

you may want to sign over temporary parental rights. It varies by state. You do have to go through the court system though.
