My sister adopted and the birth mom didn't know who the actual father was. The adoption agency had to find him. Once they did find him he had to approve. He did thank goodness. Your boyfriend needs to baby sit for a newborn for 72 hours or so. He'll come to his senses. I could be wrong...he could be an amazing father. Your decision for placing your child up for adoption will make a family more happy than you'll ever be able to understand. Edit..... Laws obviously vary state to state. Find a legitimate adoption agency. They have hired attorneys that know the law for your state. It won't cost you a dime. I wouldn't go directly to an attorney...I'd speak with an agency first.
