How do i give up my baby for adoption in the sims3?

Unfortunately, you are unable to hand the baby over to adoption. You are however, able to adopt a child so it’s a little weird that EA didn’t put in the option to place a child for adoption.
Your only option is to neglect the baby to the point that social services comes to take the baby away. It sounds mean, but it’s the only way for you to get rid of a baby.
