Like on usually if it’s close adoption but there not taking baby right after birth?

I think every agency has different rules, I would ask. Some would be immediate, some might let you hold the baby for a certain amount of time and then take them.

If it’s a closed adoption it is usually right away so that the parents don’t get too attached. The longest I have ever heard was 2 to 3 hours.
