It says, though, that the wait for children who are in institutions is about five years. it also says that the prospective adoptive parents must be residents of Greece OR be willing to adopt a child who has health problems & is in an institution. It also said that private adoption is ok (done through an attorney) without regard to the prospective adoptive parents’ place of residence.
