Yes its illegal to SELL a child. If you want to put it up for adoption, there are some parents who will be willing to pay for all the medical care you need during pregnancy, but not give you money directly. Go the adoption route if you know you cannot care for your child. Even if you need a place to stay, there have been some couples that will even provide you a place to live while you are pregnant with what will be their child eventually. Check into it.
