I had my son march 29 2001. I went back to school 1 week to the day after he was born and graduated high school 3 months after. I stayed home with him through the summer (with the help of my family). I started my 1st semester of college when he was 6mos old my mom & sister alternated watching him during the day then I found a great babysitter that only charged me 20 a week to watch him (she is family and still sees/watches him in a regular basis). When he was 18mos his father and I split up, I had a part time job and held a full time student position with a work study job on campus. I didn't get to spend a lot of time with him but I spent every second I could with him. SO no I don't believe a baby should be put up for adoption due to the age of the mother. Its a hard road but it can be don't I know of several people who have done it and it is the most wonderful feeling of accomplishment. I do not encourage getting prego when your not ready but no one should have there baby taken away from them due to age!!
