The king, not knowing how to solve it, told them he'd split the baby in half and they could each have half. The one woman was ok with it and the other immediately let go of the baby and said the other could take it, she'd rather her baby be raised by someone else than see it dead. It would be extremely painful to carry to child for 9 months just to give it up at the end, but I'm also firmly against abortion except for in extreme circumstances. I would probably suck it up and give the baby up for adoption. I would be super depressed, but at least I would be able to look at myself in the mirror and know I did the right thing for the baby. My baby would still deserve to live. I'd feel guilty about having to give her/him up for adoption but I'd feel more guilty for killing my baby. Definitely adoption.
