Once again abortion is a personal choice.

How many children are bought into this world who are not loved/abused/neglected? A small amount of these children get adopted, but at what cost to them? What have they already been through?

There are already too many unloved and lost children in this world already. udgula26

I don’t think any one can answer that one without being there. As an OB/GYn I never thought I would advocate abortion but when a dear friends daughter was molested by a young man and became pregnant without penetration, I couldn’t say what I would do if it were my daughter or if she were younger. The one time when I actually ended the life of a baby was to save the life of a young woman with cervical cancer. Her only chance to survive was a hysterectomy and she had 2 other children and a husband she adores. She believes the baby was the only way she was kept from dying because it was the only reason she went to see the doctor. Fetal anomalies that are not compatible with life fortunately are rare and it is hard to justify keeping a woman pregnant until spontaneous delivery in that situation. I don’t think anyone can say what they would do without being there themselves. pbcccm

What is it with this “no adoption” thing?

No. No. No. I answered this one before too. No, i would not abort if I got pregnant out of rape or incest. Not the babies fault. But some women can’t handle it, so it is good they have the option.

If it would kill me to have the baby, I would consider it and all the factors in my life, and may consider abortion. Again, it is good it is an option in these cases.

But why outlaw adoption? It is a good option, and helps connect loving people with babies that need homes. And why outlaw abortion? For rape, incest and baby or mothers health, it can also be a beneficial option. I think it should be more regulated, stricter, but still legal. strwbrry_gal

You’ve already asked this question about five times, you stupid girl, and I’ve answered it twice. I’m still disgusted with your statement that adoption is wrong and abortion is a better option, so I’m pulling no punches here.

GET OFF this site. This is for pregnant women who are obviously planning on staying pregnant. Use what little intelligence you have and choose a more appropriate site. This is not a question about prenancy in case you are too dense to figure that out on your own. GET OFF!!!!!!!

John Mendonc, she is not in this situation. She is thinks she has a really great argument to sway people who don’t see things the way she does and she has posted this same question about 5 or 6 times in the last few hours because she isn’t getting the answers she wants. Check it out. She has a post where she accuses people who believe in adoption but not in abortion of being hypocritical. She says that abortion is good, but adoption is wrong. And she says she is pro-choice. How is that pro-choice. She’s too ignorant to see that she is the one who is being hypocritical. tianjingabi

yes, I would. I would not bring a child into the world under such unfortunate circumstances. It’s not fair. txcowgirl

  12. Aeris Says:

At this point in my life… no I wouldn’t have an abortion. I might spend the rest of my life planning on murdering the creep that raped me. Or torturing and then killing him. So that might even out.

BTW, I’m not being sarcastic. I’m serious.

If something was wrong with the baby, I also probably wouldn’t get an abortion… because I think my husband and I could take care of it. If, however, my own life (it’s more common than people realize) was threatened by being pregnant… I probably would get the abortion as early in the pregnancy as possible. Aeris

  13. Audrey Says:

Abortion is wrong. Even if the kid is handicap. I have two children with some physical diformities and behavioral issues. If you cant handle it give it to a family that can. Are you afraid of the labor pain? Is that why u want an abortion? Plz reconsider this. Some adoption agencies will pay for all the expenses including room and board. Audrey
