I would want to stay in touch but then I wouldn't want to cause problems in the bonding process with the adopting parents. I think that I would stay away for the most part. Once the child gets older and can understand the situation that I gave birth to them but their real parents are the ones that took care of them. Then I feel i could have more contact. I was adopted. I just got off the phone with my birth mom. I also keep in touch with my birth father. I am blessed and happy that Im able to still have bonds with my bioloigcal parents although I'm happy I was raised here and not by them.
