    thats selling your baby.
you can go to an adoption agency and pick a couple and they may pay medical expenses but thats it. Savannahs Mommy <3

  5. Cindy D Says:

It’s against the law to sell your baby! It’s possible that the adoptive parents might pay your medical bills, but then if you didn’t give up the baby, you’d have to pay them back. Call an adoption agency to find out the exact laws where you live. Cindy D

    No and no

“and also if no one wants to adopt the baby would it go to an orphanage?”

No in the UK the baby would go into foster care

“how do u get a private adoption?”

Private adoption is illegal in the UK so that is a non question as a social worker (social services or adoption agency) has to be involved. Pip

So basically you want to sell your kid?

    Nice.

I already told you: if you surrender your child you get NOTHING. In some instances the adoptive parents will pay for your medical bills incurred by having the baby, but that’s about it. Do you really want to surrender your child only to have your medical paid?

There are no orphanages in the U.S. I’m assuming you live here. If you abandon your child, your child will go into foster care and possibly be adopted and you will face criminal charges for negligence. aloha.girl59

  12. Matthew's Momma Says:

You aren’t selling the baby, you are placing the child with adoptive parents. Sometimes the agency or adoptive parents will help the Birth Mother with medical bills, housing if needed, maternity clothes etc. But you are not paid. Matthew’s Momma

  13. Sunny Says:

Well, YOU wouldn’t get any $$$,but the AGENCY and ATTORNEY would get plenty.

You just get stitches down there, milk filled breasts, stretch marks, and a whole lotta regret and shame.

    It’s a rotten deal. Sunny

You get nothing. The agency gets the money. The aparents get the baby. Again, you get nothing, except over whelming grief. snowwillow20

You can’t legally sell your baby. That is a crime.

If you find a person who wants to adopt your unborn baby and they offer to pay your medical bills, that may or may not be legal, depending on the state.

I don’t know what country you are in, so I am answering from the USA.

If no one adopts the baby, which might happen if the baby had serious medical issues, the baby could be placed into foster care as a special needs child. or the child could be placed in some other type of care, depending on the problem.

    lawyers do private adoptions.

I am disgusted that you only seem to care about money. kitta

  18. Dustin Says:

    LOL at Andraya’s answer… and ditto….

you don’t get money. if your baby does not get adopted, it will go into foster care, we don’t have orphanages in the US, and I don’t know about private adoption.

but, from reading your other questions, i hope to god for this kids’ sake that you are getting an abortion, or adoption, because you will make a lousy parent, seriously google “free abortion clinics” in your city, please. Dustin

with domestic adoption in the US you can get some $ to help with pregnancy related expenses - but it really isn’t much. Certainly not an incentive for something so difficult. All money should go through an agency or lawyer, and laws on what is allowed differ by state. Most of the money involved in adoption goes to various lawyers and agencies. We paid a few hundred dollars to my daughter’s first mom for some living expenses and bought her, a plane ticket, and paid some medical bills (directly to the doctor). However we paid thousands to agencies in our home state and her state to get our home study done, attend classes about adoption, and process all the legal paperwork.

Most newborns in the US are adopted through private agencies. You can “match” with a family before the birth, but it isn’t necessary. our daughter’s mom contacted us only 2 wks before the birth. If you don’t do a private adoption the baby goes into foster care, which I wouldn’t really recommend. I know our daughter’s mom wanted her to go directly to her new family (us) and not be in a foster home. The only babies who aren’t “wanted” are generally ones with serious health issues. They may end up in foster care. There aren’t orphanages in the US. cmc

It is illegal to sell a baby. So, no the mother does not get money for the baby. Sometimes in private adoptions, the expenses are paid by the adoptive parents for medial etc. alexis88883
