I'm very close to my birthparents - they're extremely special friends to me. Closed adoptions usually end bad, I've met a couple of people who have found out, or don't know their birthparents, and the not-knowing is horrible. If you are going to put your baby up for adoption, please make it open - I talk at Social Welfare meetings, and I am in a documentary.
