Who says they don't want their kid? I bet they do, I don't know anybody who wants to have their child raised by complete "friendly" strangers, risking the fact that they may never see their baby again.
And it's not "giving away", many women are pressured into putting their child up for adoption.

The only people who don't want their kids are the ones that abuse their children and leave them out on the street starving. momo.

there's alot worse u can do to an unwanted baby than giving it up for adoption. adoption is very applaudable if you arent in a good situation to raise a baby M

There are many reasons why a mother can't keep her baby and is willing to give it up for adoption. The important thing is that the mother went through with the pregnancy and cared for the unborn baby for nine months. Giving it up for adoption is another way of showing that you still care for the baby but need the help of someone else who can give the baby a better life than you can offer it. Don't think of it as not wanting the kid. You're just admitting that you cannot handle the situation by yourself. Just make sure you go through a reputable adoption agency (look up Christian adoption services) that will ensure the whole process is handled transparently. You'll make another family very happy. Think of it as a gift you can give some other couple. Neneng

The biological parents are not really abandoning the child. The parents are providing a family for that child that will have the right capacity to care for a child. Those parents that do give up a child for adoption do that because they love the child and want the best for them-at least most of them do. Jia
