The baby could wind up with birth defects, learning disabilities or a list of other problems. A lot of the worst criminals in our prison system were FAS babies. Thats still a life inside her. Just because she isn't going to be the mommy doesn't mean it won't still be alive somewhere and have a mommy who loves it. That is about the most selfish thing I have ever heard. If she really can't quit, she needs to talk to her doctor about it. Alcoholism is a disease. Fetal Alcohol Syndrome is a very serious issue.
