My mother had a baby before me & put him up for private adoption in Texas. I don;t know much. How do I start?

Texas Birth indexes are available on Ancestry.com I think, so if you have the time and the patience you could scroll through those to find your Mom and sibling. (some libraries have this available free to use so you don’t have to spend money on the membership fee)
