i think she did the right choice
because now her baby is with a loving,caring family
also she wasnt really ready to have a baby she didnt have the materials to take care of a baby also if they keep moving and moving it would be hard

I do because I think that it will give the baby the best life, since at her age she couldn’t support the baby or herself.

ok im a 35 year old man when i was 17 me and my girl jami had a baby she gave it up last year we found each other after 17 years and i have to say from my side it was totaly the wrong thing to do. you can not replace blood with money college fun i would give the world to have been in my sons life all this time adoption is good if the child is being hurt or not cared for but for selfish reasons its very wrong .jami went on to school got a masters and married and divorced and 17 years later we back together and our 2nd child is on the way.just as if no time had passed we could have made it adoption is wrong for most situtations. depends on what yours is………….

im 21 and i have 3 kids now my youngest is 2 weeks then i have a 1 and 3 year old i had nothing when i got pregant with my first staying here and there partying all the time i didnt know who was the father and it didnt matter there was no way i could give my kids up no i dont have a high school education but i got my ged a year later im with a great guy who is 2 of my kids father but i dont work and im with my kids 24/7 with no help its hard but if i can do it she could i balled my eyes out when i watching that but at the same time she will regreat it i was waiting for them to change their minds

I think in her case she did.She herself even said she could never give it the life that she did not have.She came from an unstable family and didn’t even finish High School.How was she supposed to support the baby?How was he? They are just babies themselves.What kind of life would the baby have seriously?
Would you want to be raised by someone that comes from an unstable family,and not even know the slightest thing on how to raise a kid? Her mother was certainly not going to take care of it.The baby deserved a chance at life with parents that could financially take care of it,as in emotionally too.
They were both too young and the baby,sorry to say would not grow up the way a baby should grow up.She needs to be financially taken care of and emotionally,and she didn’t have either,neither did he.

It was the most unselfish and loving thing to do. Probably the hardest thing she has ever done and will ever do. Very courageous.

Man that episode was really sad. I cried for 30 minutes even after it was over. I think it was good for Catelyn to give her baby up for adoption because it showed she wanted better for her kid and wasn’t being selfish. When yu love someone you want the best for them and putting Carolyn up for adoption was what was best. Her boyfriend was the sweetest thing ever. Out of all the episodes I’ve watched he was the most caring and cutest. If I were in the same position I would’ve put my baby up for adoption.
Their parents acted like little kids.Like Tyler said”love isn’t the only thing a baby needs”. When your bby gets sick love won’t make him/her better. When you get kicked out of your house love won’t get you another one.This was by far the best episode. I was proud to see such young people make a wise desicion.Can’t wait to the follow-up episode.

I think they made the right decision. Yes it was hard, but now the baby has a better shot at living a great stable life. They did what was best for the child. The adoption parents were very stable, and had a very nice house, with money, and she was going to be a stay at home mom which was a plus. So i think they made the right choice.

ahhh.. i cried so much during that episode last night. it was SOO sad. i do think she did the right thing by giving her baby up. it will be the hardest thing she ever probably will have to do in her life, but, she made a tough, yet correct choice. her boyfriend was the sweetest, caring boyfriend the show has ever shown. when he first held her and he said “hi sweetheart” i started balling. lol. personally, for me, i could never give up a child. i could never imagine having the baby inside me for 9 months, bonding with it, then seeing it for the first time with it’s little hands and feet….and then having to give it to someone else. that would just kill me. i do think, however, the girl in the episode made a very unselfish thing just because she knew she wasnt gonna be able to give her daughter the life she deserved..so instead she gave her baby away to a loving family who without the 16 year old girl, would never have a chance of having a family.
