		<description>Baby #1 on 12/10/08She retains no responsibility as well as no rights.  Once an adoption is finalized the adoptive parents are the child's parents in every way with the exception of biologically.

When it comes to open adoptions, it just means the parties know who the other is and how open they're going to be is decided at the time of the adoption.  The majority of them involve just sending pictures and updates to the birth mother.</description>
