~Stefany asked: is there anyone that someone knows or is there someone here who has given up their 2nd baby up for adoption but not their 1st? how did they/you come up with the courage to do that? & why is it that they decided to do it? did having one already make it easier? I just want to know, I know a lot of people give up their 1st baby but for the ones who don’t & have another 2nd baby, how is it that you can give up that one?

Lauren asked: I’m writing a paper on abortion versus adoption and I was wondering, what are the emotional side effects from giving a baby up for adoption?

M asked: Both my parents recently passed away. Before they died, I found out that my mom may have given a baby up for adoption. How do I go about finding the records? I do not know any details about the adoption. Everything is for children seeking a birth mother. Basically, how do you do a reverse search for adoption records in Colorado.

*Star* asked: I don’t have a baby or anything. I’m just curious if biological parents can CHOOSE who they want to raise their child. Like, I know if I were in the situation I would not trust anyone making that decision for me. I’d want to sit down with a few people, get to know them, find out what jobs they have, etc.

Minnow asked: How many mothers who are in their 20s & 30s and who are otherwise very capable of raising a child (ie- married/in a stable relationship, not addicted to drugs, make decent income, etc) do you think give up their children for adoption simply b/c they don’t want to be a mothers? Does this ever happen?

G. asked: OK, I have three questions. One, can a woman who KNOWS the father of her baby give up him/her up for adoption? Two, can a woman who sincerely DOES NOT know who the father is give her baby up for adoption? Three, a DNA test cannot reveal who a baby’s father is if the man who is the father isn’t there to test, right?

Heather asked: So my boyfriend has a baby on the way but the mother of that child wants to give the baby up for adoption. He wants to keep the baby himself but were not sure what needs to be done in order for that to happen. the mother of the baby will try anything she can so that wont happen. What does he need to do? There’s no talking with that woman…
Can she put the baby up for adoption even he goes down there and steps in saying hes the father and he wants his child?

mommy2be *due feb.27* asked: I’ve always been curious about this- If you put your baby up for adoption willingly (i.e. not because you’re a druggie or in jail or anything) and then you have a change of heart a few months later, are you allowed to “take” your baby back? Do adoption agencies allow you time to change your mind about it?
*I’m not putting my baby up for adoption but I’m just wondering.
