well my sister is pregnant and she want to give me and my husband her baby without adoption is it illegal?

If the Father is not involved and not on the birth certificate can the mother put the baby up for adoption?

And the mother doesn’t want anymore drama and the best solution is to put the baby up for adoption and she already know a family that will take good care of the baby. If he is not listed on the birth certificate and the baby doesn’t have his last name can the mother still put the baby up for adoption without the father knowing and without his consent.
