I was wondering what LDS FS offers a birth mom for placing her baby for adoption.. What it includes money wise for them? Like if they pay for hosptial or whatever other costs that are involved? Does the birth mom get rent money or any assistant that way? How about counseling? How long? If you have any thing about what they have to offer would love to know… Thanks

My girlfriend and I had a baby last month (August) Our child is now 1 month old and hes been doing good. We thought about having an adoption ever since conception but, we always changed our mind about it.

I know the situation at hand is alright for him, but I know he can have better. I have not met my career goals, have not completed my education and I plan on going to college and serve some time in the marines. I want to best thing for my child, which is a boy, hazel eyes, and very cute.

His mother knows we still have a lot to do before we can really raise a kid on our own… I never imagined to have a baby so soon, I wanted us to be prepared and in our late 20s.

We’re interested in looking to place our child for adoption as soon as possible so that he may get the best family for him early on.

If anyone knows where would be the best place to do this in Milwaukee, WI and perhaps give some information about (Open Adoption)?

People say open adoption isn’t really all it’s cracked up to be; is this true?
