no, my son didnt sign anything cuz she put father unknown so that she could give it up without his consent is what she said.

My father is in prison until the end of November. Before he left his girlfriend got pregnant, she claims it’s his child. However, she is fully intent on giving this baby up for adoption. My father won’t consent to it and we’re afraid she’ll find a way to give it up anyways.
We live in North Carolina. He’ll be getting out two weeks after she is born, until then we’re going to ask the mother if I can keep her. If she still wants to give her up and if the DNA test proves he is actually the father.

I pay for everything. She doesnt want to. She doesnt help around the house either. We have very little money and cant afford to stay in our home. we are close to being homeless. I think it would be best to give the baby up becasue it will go to a nice home with a family who can devote the time and love and support a baby needs. She wont listen to me though. She doesnt care what I think or how I feel. I am so scared and dont know what to do. Is there anyway I can make her give it up through the courts or anything. It is in the best interest. Please help?
