My Adopted Baby

OK, I have three questions. One, can a woman who KNOWS the father of her baby give up him/her up for adoption? Two, can a woman who sincerely DOES NOT know who the father is give her baby up for adoption? Three, a DNA test cannot reveal who a baby’s father is if the man who is the father isn’t there to test, right?

So my boyfriend has a baby on the way but the mother of that child wants to give the baby up for adoption. He wants to keep the baby himself but were not sure what needs to be done in order for that to happen. the mother of the baby will try anything she can so that wont happen. What does he need to do? There’s no talking with that woman…
Can she put the baby up for adoption even he goes down there and steps in saying hes the father and he wants his child?

There’re good couples out there looking for kids. If a woman doesn’t feel as though she’s ready to carry the responsibility of raising a child, then why not give it to someone who can?

Why would a woman that wouldn’t list a father if placing her baby up for adoption expect that same father to pay child support if she decides to keep the baby? What’s with the double standards?

My friend is 6 months pregnant with her second child. Her oldest child has developmental problems, she suffers from depression, and she is drowning in debt and can’t even afford her meds. The father has another woman pregnant and due at the same time as my friend. He is going to jail for multiple DUI’s, he has a drinking problem, and other problems…not to mention he’s young. The father refuses to let my friend put their child up for adoption even though she is AFRAID that the child will grow up not having what he needs and could potentially be in trouble because of both the father and my friends problems. In these circumstance, can she put the baby up for adoption without the father’s consent?

Isn’t that very selfish? If you want to be a parent to your child, then parent them. But isn’t it wrong to give them away to be raised by loving parents, then expect to have a right to be in their life at a later stage?
My friend is currently making an adoption plan for her baby, and she wants the parents to talk about her as Mommy to the child, and tell the child that Mommy will always be there for her when the child is older. Don’t you think this woman should not be giving away the baby, as she will cause a lot of distress to the child and her future parents?
Yes but the adopted parents are the ones ‘helping’ the child and birthmom, so she should just be grateful to them and not be selfish. If you can’t look after the baby now, fine, but you can’t just waltz in and be a parent when “you’ve” had the chance to grow up! You can’t take a child off their parents!

I’m living overseas in japan but im planning on going home to the states to have my baby because woman that give birth over here have to wait up to a year to get their baby passport and ss card its just a mess. Plus my parents are getting married in Oct so u know.
