I disagee with the other poster. Yes you will always know that you have another child out there, but you will also know that you gave that child a better life than you were able to give. Don't let anyone belittle you for your decisions. Do what is best for you and your other children. This doesnot make you a bad person, but makes you a loving mother to be able to think of giving this new child a life you can not provide. I can not say this is from experience, as I have 4 children and have never put any up for adoption but I do have many friends who have done the same as you are looking to do and they do not regret a thing. As far as where to look most of them knew families that wanted to adopt and when the baby was born just signed the baby over to them as they could not afford all the fees usually associated with adoption. This is actually what my boyfriend and I are thinking of doing as I had my tubes tied with my last marriage and now am in a relationship where we would love to have a child together.
